RUG & BATH MAT CARE

A little regular care helps keep your Belnuvio rugs and bath mats looking their best. Materials and construction vary by product, so always follow the care instructions on the individual product page and product label first.

Regular cleaning

Shake out loose dust and debris regularly. For rugs suitable for vacuuming, use a gentle setting and avoid pulling at edges or decorative details. Clean spills promptly by blotting with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub, as this may spread the stain or disturb the fibers.

Washing

Do not assume every rug or bath mat is machine washable. Machine wash only when the product label specifically allows it, and follow the stated temperature and cycle instructions. If machine washing is not permitted, spot-clean with a small amount of mild detergent and water. Test the cleaning method on a discreet area first.

Avoid bleach and harsh cleaning products unless the product’s care instructions expressly permit them.

Drying

Allow the item to dry completely before placing it back on the floor. Use a tumble dryer only if the product label allows it. Avoid prolonged exposure to strong heat, which may affect fibers, shape, or backing.

Bath mat safety

Place bath mats on a clean, dry floor. After use, lift the mat when needed so both the mat and floor can dry. Check any non-slip backing regularly and stop using the mat if the backing becomes damaged or no longer grips the floor securely.

Storage

Store a clean, fully dry rug or bath mat in a dry, well-ventilated place. Avoid storing it while damp.
